Who we message and why
Our text-messaging program is used for internal business operations. We send messages to our employees and drivers who have provided their mobile number to the company, for purposes such as payroll notifications (for example, when pay has been processed or hours are ready to review), scheduling and dispatch updates, and account or verification messages related to our payroll portal. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
Consent
Mobile phone numbers are provided to P&C Johnson Trucking directly by our employees and drivers as part of their working relationship with the company. By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive the operational text messages described above. Consent to receive these text messages is optional and is not a condition of employment; you may opt out at any time without affecting your job.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies and depends on payroll and scheduling activity (for example, around pay periods or when your schedule changes). You will only receive messages related to your work with the company.
Opting out — STOP
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, contact us or reply START.

Carriers, rates & delivery
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers may include major U.S. carriers; availability can vary.
Mobile information & third parties
We do not sell, rent, or share mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, or text-message content with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is used only to operate our messaging program. We share it only with service providers that help us deliver messages (such as our SMS/telecommunications provider) and only as needed to send the messages described above, or where required by law. No mobile opt-in information is shared with third parties for marketing.
Privacy Policy
Information we collect
- Contact information you provide when you call or email us, such as your name, phone number, email address, and details about your hauling or project request.
- Employee & driver information necessary to run payroll and scheduling, such as name, mobile number, and work/pay records, provided as part of the working relationship.
- Basic technical information automatically collected by our web host when you visit this site (such as IP address and standard server logs) for security and reliability. This website does not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
- Careers-application information when you submit the application form: the details you enter, including your SMS-consent choice — which we retain as a consent record together with the time, page, and technical details (such as IP address) of the submission. To prevent abuse, the application form uses Cloudflare Turnstile, a bot-protection check that processes technical browser signals (such as IP address) and may set a strictly functional (non-advertising) cookie — see Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not use this information for any other purpose.
How we use information
- To respond to inquiries and provide quotes and hauling services.
- To process payroll and communicate scheduling, dispatch, and pay information to our employees and drivers.
- To send the operational text messages described in the SMS Terms above.

How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate our business (for example, our payroll/portal hosting provider and our SMS/telecommunications provider), under obligations to protect it, or when required by law. As noted above, we do not share mobile information or SMS opt-in data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data security & retention
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information we hold, and we retain it only as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. You may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, subject to our legal and recordkeeping obligations.
Children's privacy
This website and our services are intended for businesses and adults; we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
